BRMX is one of the leading figures of Mauritanian music. The first artist in the country to produce his own concert at the Olympic Stadium in Nouakchott, he has always looked beyond local stages: the Mauritanian diaspora first, then the world. Yet his communication relied almost entirely on social media, with no central platform to showcase his music, videos, projects and merchandising.
He wanted a site in his own image: artistic, structured, accessible from anywhere, and ready to host an online store. So he turned to WEBRIM, with whom he had already collaborated on the Rock The Khaïma Sessions, a series of audiovisual recordings filmed in a traditional Mauritanian tent, celebrating the meeting of tradition and modernity.
We designed brmx.world, the artist’s digital home: a scalable site, true to his universe, where his music and official merch finally live in the same place:
brmx.world is now BRMX’s digital home. The official store is live with two collections, Martaba and Jololel, shipped internationally. The video catalogue grew from 10 to 25 clips and updates itself: every new release on his YouTube channel reaches the site within the hour. The artist centralises his content and controls his image. Above all: he sells his official merchandising to his fans, in Mauritania and across the diaspora, without depending on social platforms alone.
